Barb Susko is the Dog Behaviorist and co-founder of For Dogs Sake! LLC. Barb has been working professionally with dogs since 1981. For over 28 years she has been a veterinary nurse, dog trainer and Dog behaviorist. While working as an emergency room nurse at the University of Pennsylvania’s Veterinary Hospital Barb discovered a love of dog psychology and thus For Dogs Sake! was born.
She, along with her husband Barry, founded For Dogs Sake! in the efforts to help every dog find or stay in their “forever home”. Barb works as a behavior consultant for several of the areas veterinary hospitals. She is also instrumental in finding abandoned pit bulls safe and forever homes.
Barry Papa has a love of all things dogs. He is a natural when it comes to dog training. He believes in compassionate leadership and giving dogs the pack leader they deserve. He does not believe in gimmicky tools to get dogs to listen to you. For the past 5 years Barry has been the Lead Trainer For Dogs Sake! LLC. Barry and Barbs most rewarding experiences are joining families as they go to the shelter to pick the next member of their pack. They teach families leadership and how to be a pack leader then help them find the right dog to fit their home. This is helping to keep dogs out of shelters and in the loving and well balanced homes they deserve.
